WHO WE ARE
The Tri-County Refugee Planning Committee (RPC) is a planning and advocacy group comprised of volunteer members representing community-based organizations, immigrants, refugees, ethnic Mutual Assistance Associations, voluntary resettlement agencies, local and state government, and others interested in the successful resettlement and integration of refugees in the King, Pierce and Snohomish Counties. The RPC began in 1983 as the King County Refugee Planning Committee. In early 2000, it expanded to include Pierce and Snohomish County members and became the Tri-County Refugee Planning Committee
It is the role of the Refugee Planning Committee to serve as an advisory body in a partnership with stakeholders to advocate for an equitable and comprehensive service delivery plan that addresses the holistic needs of immigrants and refugees in King, Pierce, and Snohomish counties
The RPC envisions a service delivery model that creates equitable space and opportunities for all immigrants and refugees.
